Couponing, if done right, can save you a lot of money and it is not as hard as it might seem. There is a great deal of information available on how to use coupons and it can all seem very overwhelming, however the key is take small steps. In the series "Become a Bargain Mavin" I will walk you through the steps and by the time you are done you to will become a Bargain Mavin. This site is designed for both the Coupon Newbies and the Bargain Mavins.


How to use this site

The Shopping List

Every week I post a Shopping List for: CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Stater Bros., Target, Vons and Walmart. To access a particular store use the tab in the right hand column. Each store will have a weekly Shopping List. The Shopping List is developed from the stores weekly sales ad and the items are then matched with available coupons. To use the Shopping List all you need to do is copy it to your word processor and print.

To Print the Shopping List:

1. Highlight the items on the list.
2. Press copy.
3. Go to your word processor (ex. Microsoft Word, Notepad).
4. Press paste.
5. Print

Once you have printed your shopping list, you will highlight the items that you want and gather the matching coupons. You are now one step closer to becoming a Bargain Mavin.

Throughout the week I come accross other items that were not originally on the weekly Shopping List, due to unadvertised sales, clearances and such. If you are interested in any of the additional items that are posted all you need to do is copy it and add it to your shopping list.

Coupons

You need coupons to be a successful Bargain Mavin. So throughout the week I will post about new coupon that are available. These coupons can be found on the Coupon Collection tab. It is important to know that these coupons have a set limit on how many will be offered. So if you see a coupon that you know you could use, it is important to print it out immediately so that you don't miss out on it.

Most sites that offer printable coupons allow you to print two per computer. Before you can print a coupon, the site may ask you to download a coupon generator. The generator is needed for security purposes. The coupons will print with a watermark, so they cannot be copied on a copy machine. Now you are ready to print, once you print your first coupon simply press the back button and you will be able to print a second coupon.
