Fluster Buster

On the front page of this weeks Big Lots Ad you will find All Laundry Detergent at just 2/$5. This is a great price and could be better if Big Lots accepted coupons, but they don't.  But don't despair, we can use the Big Lot sale price to our advantage.

If you have a local Big Lots you're in luck. Head over to Target or Walmart with the Big Lots sale ad and do a price match. What that means is that Target or Walmart will match Big Lots advertised sale price. Be sure to hand them the Big Lots ad before they ring up the All Laundry Detergent. Then to sweeten the deal even more you can use the $2/1 coupon from the 1/3 RP. Your final price will only be $0.50 each.

I picked up 10 bottles yesterday.

I shopped at Target yesterday. I had to pay $1.50 each for the All detergent. Target has a written policy not to honor "bundle" offers like the 2/$5. They charged me the $3 each listed in small print in the Big Lots ad.

I did the deal at walmart without any problems. Do you know where it is written about them not accepting the bundle offers?

I was told in order to do a price match I would need to check out through customer service. The customer service rep picked up a laminated policy sheet and read/showed me where it said that they can price match, but not on bundle deals. Now, I have seen some bundle prices listed that will be the same individual price listed underneath. I guess we just will go to Wal-Mart. I also had already used the $2/1 item since for us it came early in December. I had $3/2 from Jan. that I used making my price $1.50 each.
