Robin Buster

A couple of weeks ago I gave you a heads up on a Mystery Giveaway that we would be having here at Bargain Mavin. Well I am so excited to be able to finally reveal it to you.

Recently Safeway family of stores and Fiber One teamed up with MyBlogSpark and asked me if I would try their products. They sent me a Fiber One Gift Bag that included: information about Safeway family of stores; information about Fiber One; a VIP coupon for a FREE 4-pack of Fiber One Yogurt; a $50.00 gift card to Safeway and an additional $50.00 Safeway gift card to give away to one of my wonderful readers.

I have to be honest, I would never have tried the Fiber One Yogurt on my own. I have always been under the assumption that anything that is good for you has to taste like tree bark. Boy was I wrong! When you read the label you can't help but think tree bark: 50 calories; 5 grams of fiber; 0 grams of fat; good source of calcium, Vitamin A and D. But once you try it your thoughts of tree bark quickly disappear.

For this review I tried the stawberry flavor. I was pleasantly surprised at how yummy, smooth and creamy it was, it was everything that you expect from Yoplait. Even the toughest critics in my house (my kiddos) tried it and really liked it, they liked it so much that we went out and purchased the peach, vanilla and key lime flavors, all of which were equally yummy.

I wanted to use my Safeway gift card to buy more Fiber One Yogurt, but we don't have a Safeway store nearby. So being the Bargain Mavin that I am, I did some research before heading out. Guess what I found out - Safeway family of stores includes: Dominick´s, Tom Thumb, Randalls, Vons, and Genuardi´s. Wahoo! I could use my Safeway gift card at Vons to get more Fiber One Yogurt. To sweeten the deal even more the Safeway stores were running a special deal on Fiber One Yogurt until 2/9/10, where you can snag two 4-packs for just $4.00. Pair that deal up with the coupons that I found and you have a really awesome deal on some great tasting yogurt.

Fiber One Yogurt (4-pk), $2.00
Use: $1/1 Fiber One Yogurt (GM 1/3); or
$0.75/1 Fiber One Yogurt (IE) or (Firefox)
Final Price: as low as $1.00

One of my wonderful readers can win a $50.00 Safeway gift card that can be used at Safeway, Dominick´s, Tom Thumb, Randalls, Vons, and Genuardi´s.

  9. I would probably try the strawberry. I like Strawberry and banana flavored yougurt, peach and cherry. I saw the commercials, I thought they were clever. I didn't really doubt that they taste good, I just don't really need the boost of fiber. I get plenty already.
