Fluster Buster

Recently, you may have noticed that there has been a huge decrease in the number of posts that I usually do. Don't worry there are still a ton of deals to be found, I just haven't had the time to post them lately.

The reason for my lack of posts is because we are going to be moving, not just across town but across the United States. The move isn't the part that is time consuming, it is going through 15 years worth of accumulated STUFF, deciding what to keep, packing it and then selling everything else. My garage sales have been a huge success though, in part because I have been selling off a lot of my stock pile items. It is amazing to me the amount of stuff that accumulates. As I am going through things, that I haven't seen in years, I can't help but ask my self "Why the heck did I keep this?"

I really hate that I haven't had the time to share all of the great deals that I find with you. But what I hate even more is that you might be missing out on all of those great deals. I expect to be back in FULL posting mode by mid March. Until then you can visit my buddy Kristin over at Couponing to Disney or my buddy Erica over at Frugal Racing Fan Mommy to keep up with the latest deals. They both do a fantastic job bringing you the hottest deals. Of course you can still visit me as I will still be posting some deals as time allows.

Thanks for being such a big part of Bargain Mavin.

**If you have any moving tips that would help me to save time, money or sanity, I would really appreciate it.

Instead of packing materials, wrap stemmed glassware in (clean) mens' socks. Wrap the stem in the toe end first, then pull the open end over the top and stuff it in the glass. It's better protection, you have to pack the socks anyway, and if something does break, at least it's contained.
